Each time Magic Scorch deals damage to a target, the target's Magic Resist will be lowered during the duration of the damage. This effect can stack. When Magic Scorch explodes, a Magic Trap will form at the blast point (only one on the battlefield at any time). The Magic Trap will continue dealing damage to the target.
